Stay cool this July with GlutenFreegan Cookie Dough Ice Cream!

Don't fire up your ovens! Here's a recipe for July that will not require you to break a sweat!
GlutenFreegan Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Freezing time: 3 hours total
Ingredients:
For the cookie dough
1/2 pouch of chocolate chip cookie mix
35g apple sauce
35g granulated sugar
30g dark brown sugar
30g dairy free spread
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
For the ice cream
Make your own using a creamy dairy free milk like coconut milk or hazelnut milk and an ice cream maker
OR
Cheat! And use your favourite flavour and brand of dairy free ice cream.
1) Prepare the cookie dough according the the chocolate chip cookie mix pouch. Using a teaspoon, make little balls of dough and separate them on a plate or sheet. Put them in the freezer for an hour.
2) Soften your ice cream.
3) Add the frozen cookie dough balls and stir the though the softened ice cream.
4) Refreeze the cookie dough ice cream for two hours. Then enjoy!
